THE PIÈCES UNIQUES & LE CHAÎNON

The Pièce Unique collection is a timeless capsule. Dedicated to creative freedom, in opposition to convention, it exists out of a desire for self-expression. Timeless sculptural pieces designed by a woman for women. In collaboration with Le Chaînon, we have developed a philanthropic campaign that will run from May 14th 2023 to May 14th 2024.

Why May 14th - Mother's Day is a symbolic, precious day that honors women. A mother is a symbol of protection, caring, strength and resilience. She takes many forms, as many as we want to give her. This year-long campaign aims to raise funds for the Fondation Le Chaînon, whose mission is to welcome women in vulnerable situations unconditionally and without judgment. For each piece sold, Anne-Marie Chagnon will donate 20% of the total value** to Le Chaînon Foundation. Together, we have the power to make a difference.

GIVING BACK TO WOMEN

By partnering with Le Chaînon, UNIQUE takes on a new meaning. Women, their stories, their lives and their hope are precious. The unique pieces became an obvious part of this project: timeless, expressive and strong, they symbolize the power, resilience and strength of all WOMEN. Strong of a creative freedom, this energy that emanates from these works and emanates with force from those who wear them. A privileged history of emotions and authenticity with the material and the women, this is what defines the PIÈCES UNIQUES.

*A one-year donation campaign, what is it? - One year is symbolic, it is perennial. To be part of a project over time is to allow precious moments of creation, exchange and discovery of others. This is also what Le Chaînon offers to the women they welcome - TIME. We wanted to materialize this moment by allocating a significant period of time to develop projects together around Le Chaînon and Les Pièces Uniques.

This year of collaboration will be marked by several initiatives that will be implemented in phases, during key periods for La Fondation Le Chaînon and for Anne-Marie Chagnon. A COLLABORATION OVER TIME

Contribute: that's the choice Anne-Marie Chagnon made. Community involvement is a value dear to Anne-Marie Chagnon. Over time, in accordance with the wishes of the founder and president, the company has developed a community involvement program by supporting dozens of non-profit organizations each year. Involvement with organizations and foundations is in Anne-Marie Chagnon's DNA. The place of community involvement in her business model contributed to her being awarded the Woman of Distinction Award in the Entrepreneurship category by the Women's Y of Montreal in 2015. Collaborating with La Fondation Le Chaînon is not new. For several years, Anne-Marie Chagnon has been giving back during auctions and ephemeral collaborations. Creating a year-long project together was just the next step.

WHO IS LE CHAINON

Founded in 1932 by Yvonne Maisonneuve, Le Chaînon's mission is to welcome women in vulnerable situations unconditionally and without judgment. Women benefit from professional support in an environment that encourages the most egalitarian relationships possible. Le Chaînon also wishes to take a collective and social stand to denounce the inequalities, living conditions and different forms of violence experienced by women. The goal is to promote the defense of women's rights - with women. Created in 2014, Fondation Le Chaînon is dedicated exclusively to financially supporting Le Chaînon in its mission to provide assistance and shelter to women in vulnerable situations. Through innovative and large-scale projects, the Foundation distinguishes itself by its dynamism, agility and ability to mobilize an entire community committed to the cause of women. Based on the values of respect, unconditional acceptance of the individual, social justice, development of women's potential and solidarity, the Foundation is an ally of choice to ensure the financial sustainability and influence of Le Chaînon.
