Web Advice

Anne-Marie Chagnon

The perfect product sheet doesn’t exist. Yes, it is created with your company in mind, but it's put in place mostly for your customers. It can be as minimalist or as full of information as you want. It has to be a reflection of your positioning.

What this page is supposed to do is answer all your customers’ questions – it’s basically a replacement for your sales representative. The main structure of the product sheet needs to be in line with your sales pitch and be reassuring to the customer. That way, the only thing left for him to do is to click the “Add To Basket” icon.

Selling one item is good, but selling multiple items is better. In order to achieve that, you could offer complementary or additional products on your product sheet. Propose the earrings that go with the purchased bracelet, or why not add a candle or a card to complete the gift? At Anne-Marie Chagnon, we also like to offer the extension that goes with each necklace, because those couple of dollars can make a valuable difference at the end of the month.

I hope this was helpful to you. Being able to adapt during these changing times is definitely the key to success. Do not hesitate to ask for outside help, as a couple of hours with an expert could prove to be very profitable. Some websites, like Fiverr to name an example, can help you in recruiting someone who could provide a service that you specifically need.

Marketing Advice

Anne-Marie Chagnon

More than ever, visual content is at the heart of every marketing strategy. Visual identity is how you shape perceptions and create an impression through the visible elements of your brand. In fact, images are a powerful form of communication and they convey many messages including the values of the company. That is why one should avoid modifying images coming from a supplier; even the simple action of cropping a picture or adding a colored filter on Instagram can alter a company’s image. When it comes to branding, every little detail counts.

In order to create a brand, you first have to determine your target audience. Who does your product serves? Who is your ideal customer? Then, you must establish your mission statement by answering the following question: “why did I create my business?” In order to find your brand voice and to create visual assets to serve it, you must also define your unique values, qualities and benefits. Branding is part of the essence of an organization. It helps us achieve our business goals by communicating important information to existing and potential customers.
